NZS 8409:2021 Online access

NZS 8409:2021 is the New Zealand Standard for the Management of Agrichemicals. It was published in August 2021.

Holders of a current Growsafe certificate may access an online version of the standard through this portal for no charge, subject to the following conditions:

  • you may access the online copy as many times as you wish
  • you may download the pdf for temporary use
  • you may make one printed copy for temporary use
  • you may not share the pdf with other people
  • you may not share your login details with other people.

If you would like a hard copy of the standard, you can purchase one from StandardsNZ at a cost of $173 (excluding GST) for a printed copy or $155.70 for a pdf.

To access the online copy of the NZS 8409, you will need to be logged in to this Growsafe site. When logging in for the first time, you need to log in by using the email address provided when you gained your Growsafe certificate and then re-setting your password. If you have any issues with registering or logging in, email [email protected] and include your full name and date of birth.
