Online Renewal of GROWSAFE Introductory Certificate

We offer an online renewal option for renewal of Introductory certificates only. It is possible to renew your Approved Handler certificate at the same time if you wish.

The online option is for renewal only. If you need an Introductory certificate, you should attend a face-to-face course.

The online service is managed by Farmsafe on behalf of GROWSAFE. If you have any queries regarding the online process, please call 0508 GROWSAFE (476-9723) and press 2 for help with online renewal.

You need to know your Introductory certificate number before you start the online renewal. Call 0508 GROWSAFE (476-9723) and press 3 to find out your certificate number.

Renewal Process

1. Register and create an account (choose "Start Renewal" option on Farmsafe website). A login ID and password will then be sent to you by Farmsafe.
2. Decide whether you wish to renew GROWSAFE Introductory Certificate and Approved Handler (recommended) or just one. Click here to understand the differences between the two certificates.
3. Make payment to Farmsafe
4. Log in - read materials online and then complete online assessment
5. Following succesful completion of the assessment, your new GROWSAFE Introductory certificate will be mailed to you.

Internet connection

For those on broadband or fast dialup speed, you can renew your Growsafe® Introductory certificate in approximately 60 minutes.

If your internet connection is too slow (you do not have broadband or fast dial up), you may request a hardcopy of a Workbook Manual after you have registered, by phoning 0800 545 747. However, registration, application for renewal and the renewal assessment must be done online.
